Friday, 11.8.19 – Sunday, 11.10.19
Fall Retreat – One of our favorite events of the year is our fall retreat! Our fall retreat will be Friday, November 8 through Sunday, November 10, at Eagle Ridge Retreat Center, which is about a 17 minute drive from HFC.Russ King will be our retreat speaker this year. Russ is the preaching minister at Donelson Church of Christ in the Nashville area. The theme of our retreat and Russ’s messages will be “Poured Out,” and he will teach on the Holy Spirit. The retreat will cost $35 per person. If money is ever an issue, please talk with Ryan. We don’t want anyone not to go on retreat because of money. [Packing list: Bible, weather-appropriate clothing, $35, bedding (we’ll sleep on twin bunk beds), towel, toiletries]. We will meet at Eagle Ridge at 7pm on Friday, November 8, and we will leave pretty early on Sunday morning. We love the fall retreat! We’d love for you and your friends to join us! Let us know if you have any questions!
Worship at Greenwood Park – Many HFC students regularly attend Greenwood Park Church of Christ, the sponsoring church of Hilltoppers for Christ. Due to us coming back from the fall retreat on Sunday morning, there will be no college Bible class on Sunday, November 10. However, we will likely be back in time to worship with the whole church at 10am. Greenwood Park’s address is 1818 Campbell Lane, which is about 3 miles from WKU. If you need a ride to church, contact our campus minister, Ryan Cole.
