Summer is almost over, and classes start next week. This week as freshmen move in and M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan starts, we hope to connect with many new students. Here are a few ways to serve our ministry and connect with new students this week listed below:

Sunday, 8.18.19 – Breakfast, Bible class, and Worship at Greenwood Park

Many HFC students regularly attend Greenwood Park Church of Christ, the sponsoring church of Hilltoppers for Christ. The college Bible class starts at 9am and is in room 210. Coffee and breakfast (usually Panera bagels) is provided. After Bible class, worship with the whole church starts at 10am. Greenwood Park’s address is 1818 Campbell Lane, which is about 3 miles from WKU. If you need a ride to church, contact our campus minister, Ryan Cole.

Monday, 8.19.19 – Freshmen Move-In

We will help incoming freshmen move into their dorms on Monday, August 19, from 12pm-4pm. HFC has been asked to help the particular students moving into Hugh Poland Hall. If you would like to help, you can either meet us at Hugh Polland Hall anywhere from 12pm-4pm, or meet us at HFC at 11:30am, and we’ll walk to campus together. If you do help, we ask you to wear your black HFC shirt from last year. If you have any questions or need a shirt, contact Ryan.

Wednesday, 8.21.19 – Prayer Walk at WKU

Join us on Wednesday, August 21, at 7pm as we pray for our campus, ministry, and fall semester. We will walk around campus praying for various WKU-related subjects including academics, athletics, Greek life, and much more. If you’d like to join us, meet us at the HFC house at 7pm, and we’ll leave from there.

Thursday, 8.22.19 – Campus Ministries Lawn Party

The WKU Campus Ministry Lawn Party will be held on Thursday, August 22, from 7pm to 10pm on WKU’s South Lawn. Freshmen participating in M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan will have the opportunity to get to know and learn about WKU’s campus ministries. HFC will have a table set up, and we’ll hand out fliers and get to know new freshmen. If you’d like to help out with the lawn party, meet at HFC at 6pm on Thursday, August 22. Also, please wear your black HFC shirts. If you have any questions or need a shirt, contact Ryan.
